On Wednesday, Josh Gerben, a trademark attorney and founder of Gerben Intellectual Property, said: Tweet Rapper and musician Ye and his company Mascot Holdings are applying for a new trademark. Gerben said: “Kanye West has filed 17 new trademark applications centered around his YEEZUS name. Filing has indicated its intention to launch Yeezus brand amusement parks, NFTs, toys and more.”

According to the Trademark Summary, the trademark application to the USPTO was filed on May 27, 2022.
West’s Mascotte Holdings has joined a number of well-known brands that have applied for NFT and Metaverse-related trademarks. Companies such as New Balance, Crocs, Urban Outfitters, Walmart, Ralph Lauren, Abercrombie & Fitch have also applied for USPTO trademarks related to digital collectibles and blockchain technology. In addition, many other companies have already released NFT and Metaverse products, including Samsung, Gap, Adidas, Nike, Hennessy, Coca-Cola and Pepsi-Cola.
